A reminder that data and accountability funding has been extended through June 30, 2019. All activities must end by this date.
The second expenditure report for these funds is due by July 31, 2019, with the final report due by Aug. 26, 2019 (using the old Chancellor’s Office MIS Webex fiscal system). Within the next few weeks, we will make available a data and accountability Practice with Promise form that will feed into our Practice with Promise website. In order to successfully close out these funds, a promising practice must be submitted. For more information, see the links on our website to data and accountability information.
novaSetting Up Your Spending Targets in NOVA

NOVA logo
A reminder to all Adult Education Program users in NOVA: Your consortium director/lead should be checking to make sure you have set your quarterly target expenditure indicator to align with the state spending targets.

NOVA does not automatically program the state spending targets, and consortium members can lower this threshold to avoid filing a corrective action plan. Your consortium may wish to have stronger spending intervals (higher than the state targets), but at a minimum, listed below are the state spending targets:
Q1 – 15%
Q2 – 30%
Q3 – 45%
Q4 – 60%
Keep in mind this is for the 18-19 budget for all active funds (16-17 and 17-18 carryover, and 18-19 new funds). We will post more information about this topic in the form of a YouTube video to provide a step-by-step approach on how to access the tool and modify targets. Look for it in an upcoming newsletter.
