CAEP Summit 2022

Almost two weeks later, we are still overjoyed by the success of the CAEP Summit 2022! The four-day experience was wonderful and we could not have done it without each and every one of you. There were so many great breakout sessions across the CAEP priorities: equity, leadership, learner transition, marketing, program development, program evaluation, and technology and distance learning. We hope everyone enjoyed the offerings, learned something new, and will be able to take what you have learned back to your school site/program/agency.

We are in need of your support in providing feedback. If you attended the Summit and have not done so already, please take a little bit of time to complete an evaluation for each of the session’s you attended. We value your feedback. Your feedback is important to not only CAEP TAP as we begin planning next year’s CAEP Summit, but also to the presenters who want to know what you thought of their session. Evaluations for all breakout sessions and the overall evaluation can be found here.

The Golden State Education and Training Grant (GSETG) Program supports Californians who lost their jobs due to the COVID-19 pandemic with a one-time grant of $2,500 for reskilling, up-skilling, and accessing educational programs to get back into the workforce. This opportunity is open to community college noncredit and adult education students. There are specific eligibility criteria listed as it is tied to the impact that the pandemic had on the student and employment.

The application is currently available online, however, the Chancellor’s Office is working with the CA Student Aid Commission to develop a paper application. Details on the availability of this paper application will be forthcoming.

Explore the website to learn more about this opportunity.
